Single 'Anytime' Quota

  • Eftel's ADSL2+ plans provide you with a single 'anytime' data quota allowing you use your quota at a time which best suits you.
  • Downloaded and uploaded data is counted towards your monthly quota allocation.
  • If you exceed your monthly quota, your connection in the corresponding period will be shaped for the remainder of your billing month.

Max-Speed Guarantee

Eftel's Maximum Speed guarantee. Eftel guarantees that we will connect you at the fastest available speed using either ADSL2+ or Open ADSL1 depending on service availability within our Network or wholesale partner networks. Eftel will attempt to first connect your service using ADSL2 then open ADSL1.

The actual speed of your service will depend on a number of things, such as the distance between your premises and the telephone exchange, the quality of the copper telephone lines in your area, network load and your computer hardware.

Plan change fees

ADSL hardware

To use your broadband service, you will require an ADSL modem. You have the option of purchasing an Eftel modem or supplying your own.

Other conditions

Eftel provides ADSL2+ services with download speeds of up to 24Mbps. Theoretically, ADSL2+ services have a maximum achievable speed of 24576/1024Kbps.

The actual speed you experience depends on a number of factors, including your equipment, the quality and location of your line, how far your connection is from the local telephone exchange, the applications you are using, the capacity and speed of our systems, the systems of our suppliers and the Internet generally. For these reasons, you should not expect your actual speed to be at or near the theoretical maximum.

The Minimum Total Cost over the length of each contract is calculated according to: [Monthly Access Fee x Contract Length] + [Monthly Line Rental (if applicable) x Contract Length] + Connection Fee (if applicable) Please note that if you select to close your Eftel account within the given contract period, additional early termination fees will apply.
