Peak & Off-peak Period
All of Eftel's new ADSL plans count both uploaded and downloaded data towards your monthly quota allocation.
During each peak/off-peak period, any data you download or upload will count towards your quota level for each usage period.

If you exceed your monthly quota allocation, your connection in the corresponding period will be shaped to 64k/64k for the remainder of your billing month.
Speak@home phone service
Eftel is constantly searching for new ways to save you money and deliver better value. You can now save between $10 - $20 per month off the cost of your ADSL account simply by switching your home phone over to Eftel's Speak telephony service.
Speak is Eftel's home telephony service which not only saves you money on your monthly broadband, but also provides you with amazingly low prices for local, long-distance and international calls.
Eftel Auto-Payment
The prices above are only available to customers who pay via Eftel's Auto-pay. Auto-pay is Eftel's convenient payment service that not only saves you time but also saves you money by automatically debiting your nominated credit card or bank account each month on the due date.
Upon signing up for an one of our ADSL2+ services, an Eftel representative will contact you to confirm your payment details.

ADSL hardware
To use your broadband service, you will require an ADSL modem. You have the option of purchasing an Eftel modem or supplying your own.
Other conditions
If you are currently in a BroadbandNext-enabled area and have an active telephone line with Optus, we will need to physically transfer your telephone line across to the BroadbandNext network to provide you with ADSL2+ services.
Eftel provides ADSL2+ services with download speeds of up to 24Mbps. Theoretically, ADSL2+ services have a maximum achievable speed of 24576/1024Kbps.
The actual speed of your service will depend upon a number of things, such as the distance between your premises and the telephone exchange, the quality of the copper telephone wires in your area, network load and your computer hardware.

The Minimum Total Cost over the length of each contract is calculated according to:
